Holler for Marshall!

Over time, Marshall has been sliced and diced like a kid’s birthday cake. This now tiny ‘burb is home to the Marshall Railway station, which services Bellarine and Surf Coast train commuters as well as locals. Only one third of Marshall remains intact today. The remainder – former rural living farms – is now part of the Armstrong Creek growth area where the ex-Marshall pocket will be known as Charlemont. Marshall could just as easily be known as Grovedale East: it’s serviced by Grovedale’s shops and schools before it meanders into Barwon River flats.

Marshall’s new housing estates are on smaller blocks, attracting budget minded downsizers, older families and couples seeking low maintenance accomodation.

There’s also a number of retirement villages here, both established and slated for construction.
